It was actually finished a few months ago, but this is the final cast drawing I did at the Grand Central Academy before moving onto painting. It's about 26x 19 inches and graphite on paper. Click for a larger view.

Finished Figure Drawing
Here's my drawing from the month of April.
We had a really fantastic model, Eniss, every weekday morning for the month.
I toned my own paper with watercolour and the did the drawing with graphite and white chalk.

"Stegosaurus"
Here's a painting I did a few years ago of a toy stegosaurus. Like a lot of kids growing up, dinosaurs used to fascinate me and I thought it would be fun to revisit the subject.

Some Cast Drawings and a Painting
Here is the most recent cast drawing I did in my first year at the Grand Central Academy of Art in New York. I have one more cast drawing to do before I move onto painting when I return in September.
I did this drawing from a cast of a Donatello sculpture while I was on my summer break in Cairns, Australia.
I painted this study of a tree in Cairns. It was the view outside my bedroom window

Still Life with Brazillian Fabric
Oil on Linen, 26 x 26 inches
Here is a Still Life painting, recently sold, that I'd been working on for a while. It was my attempt at using a cooler palette than I normally would and it served to satisfy my interest in employing a combination of pattern and three- dimensional form.
